Headed out on heavy southerly winds. We were doing a shake down cruise of the ol' Seacraft to see if it still worked after a month's layoff.
Water temp was at 61 degrees.
Nancy struck first with a nice keeper trout on the tourist rig.
She gave it a Valentine's Day smooch and set it free.
I couldn't get anything going, so I picked up the rig that had an Unfair Lure that I had purchased in Florida.
On the third cast I got scorched and then I caught 8 others in about an hour.
Needless to say, I will be throwing this bait a lot more.
All in all a real good few hours of fishing considering the wind was howling and the tide was strong.
