Water Temp 83 degrees
Knowing that we had our work cut out for us, we headed out on a dead high tide.
Cast, Cast, Cast, and more casting we finally got a bite after a couple of hours of flogging the water.
Then realizing the fish were low in the water column, I started getting a consistent bit slow rolling a twister tail.
The first sign of them laying low was swinging this trout over and having him splatter mud all over the boat.
You can see his muddy belly.
And the mud all over the boat.
All in all we brought in 7 trout, 6 were keepers.
This picture I turned in to this masterpiece via the Waterlogue app.
Summer continues and fishing will continue to be fishing and not catching!
